It’s finally cold again, so we have one more reason to come together and stay warm!

We are extremely happy to finally show “Open Ocean”, the recently released documentary by Philippe Opigez and Rico Stein, in collaboration with our friends from Open Ocean. The film provides insights into the world of inclusive surfing in the north of Portugal, where people with and without disabilities conquer the waves together.

“Open Ocean” takes viewers on an inspiring journey to experience how people with different challenges overcome barriers to pursue their passion together. The film focuses on the stories of Hannes, Fritzi, Adriani, Pia and Malin, who experience the magic of the ocean from their very individual perspectives.Hannes, a surfer with spinal cord injury, impressively shows his determination to let nothing stop him. Fritzi, an experienced surf instructor, is committed to teaching others how to surf. Adriani, a blind surfer, shows dedication and courage. And Pia, a wheelchair user, travels to Portugal with her friend Malin and finds joy and healing in surfing.

The screening is followed by an q&a with Hannes and Christina from Open Ocean.
